Dahl were united in marriage by Rev. A. Meland. The ceremony took place shortly after four o'clock and was witnessed by a host of friends of the contracting parties. The church had been prettily decorated with potted plants and flowers and the service was beautiful and impressive. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Olson and has grown up to young womanhood in this village. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Dahl and has for a number of years been one of Otter Tail County's most efficient teachers. The young people are well known here and have the sincere respect of the community. The bride was attired in a dress of cream silk chiffon over cream taffeta, and she carried white roses. The groom wore the conventional black with white vest. The bridesmaids were Miss Tillie Tollefson, maid of honor, Miss Ida Gordon, and Kate Vaglo, while the grooms attendants were Olaf Olson, best man, Oscar Peterson and Nick Johnson. Mrs. Meland presided at the organ and Hannah Olson, a little sister of the bride, acted as flower girl and strewed white sweet peas before the bridal couple. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the bridal party and guests repaired to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Olson where a reception was held and an elaborate wedding supper was served. About 125 guests were in attendance and the festivities continued until well along towards midnight. The happy couple was recipients of many beautiful and costly gifts as tokens of the esteem in which they are held. They will make their home in this village for the present, but with the opening of the school year, Mr. Dahl expects to take charge of the school at Underwood. The PRESS united with the many friends of the happy young couple in wishing them a long and happy as well as prosperous married life.
