FileFormatted by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Claire Grant ========================================================================= This obit is in "The Review Messenger" July 26,1995.(the typo's are in the original obit) GRACE FULLERTON Grace Faye Fullerton, age 88, of Menahga, Minnesota, died Monday July 24,1995 at Green Pine Acres Nursing Home in Menahga. Grace was born on September 17,1906, to Elmer and Frieda (Huer) Grant in Paddock Township. She grew up in the Sebeka area and attended school until she was 13 years old. Her family moved to Leonard, Minnesota, where she graduated; then moved back to Hillview where she met and married Robert Fullerton on Novmber 26, 1924. To bless this union one daughter was born. Grace and Robert farmed around Sebeka area until 1941 when they moved to Wadena, where she worked as a clerk in a grocery store. They lived there for ten years. They then moved to Minneapolis where they resided for 13 years. Grace worked at the Northwest Bank in Minneapolis for eight years when her health failed. When Bob retired they moved to Menahga - on Dec 5,1964. Grace worked as a volunteer at Green Pine Acres for 15 years until her health failed and forced her to quit. She enjoyed working with the senior citizens very much. Grace is survived by one daughter Anna Mae Larson of Minneapolis; three sisters, Pearl Zimmerman of Sebeka, Violet Johnson of Minneapolis, and Elsie Robinson of Arizona; one brother, Stanley Grant of New York Mills; three grandchildren, Bruce Schenemann of Brandon, South Dakota, Pam Root of Minneapolis, and Gary Schenemann of Brooklyn Park, nine great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; one great-grandson, Ross; one sister, Claire; and three brothers, Earl, Vernon and Wayne. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, at noon at the United Methodist Church in Menahga with Reverend Kent Rebehn officiating. Visitation will 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 27, at the Cardini- Behrens Funeral Home in Menahga. Organist will be Lonnie Schmidt, Soloist will be Peggy Liimatta who will sing "Amazing Grace". Congregational hymns will be "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "How Great Thou Art". Active casketbearers will be Harold Jacob, Donald Turck, Herbert Kangas, Melvin Jacob, Les Havnes, and Henry Roiko. Interment will be at Hillview Cemetery. All arrangements will be provided by Cardini-Behrens Funeral Home of Menahga and Sebeka.
