(Wording is from the orig obit) Obituary Mrs. Christena Heuer died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.O.Grant, in Paddock township, Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, at the age of 71 years. Deceased was stricken with paralysis seven years ago and has been helpless since that time; on Thursday of last week she suffered a second stroke and failed rapidly until death relieved all earthly suffering. Deceased was born in Germany in the year 1848, coming to this counrty 33 years ago; first residing in Chicago, and two years later moved to Renville County, Minn., where the family resided for 11 years. She came to Paddock 18 years ago and since resided there. She was the mother of eight children, four of whom died in Germany and two died after the family moved here.She is survived by by two daughters, Mrs. E.O. Grant of Paddock, and Mrs. Geo. Brown of Wales, N.D. The funeral services were held at the Grant home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. A. Tassler officiating, and interment was make in the Paddock cemetery. -------------------------------- Card of Thanks.
