About this time a newspaper article (presumably "The Hinckley News") said: "Radio Shop Moving Into Schaefer Bldg" "Mr. Elmer Barton and Mr. Nels Swendsen, who have been engaged in the radio and electrical business in the Folsom Building on the north side of Main Street for the past year, have rented the Schaefer Building, formerly Wendt's Cafe, on the south side of the street, and are moving over this week. Increase in their business is given as the main reason for the move by the proprietors and the fact that in the new place they will have considerably more room. Mr. Swendsen is now the district manger for the Maytag Washing Machine Company and is planning on storing a large number of Maytag machines in the new place, as well as having a large shop for his radio line. Mr. E. Barton is an expert plumber and electrician and plans to display a fine line of these fixtures in the new location. Sign painters were busy on Tuesday putting new signs on the windows of the Schaefer Building with radio sales and service on one side and plumbing and electrical shop on the other. The boys also plan to erect a tie rack in the rear of their store for an accomodation to the farmers. "
