Hoffmeister performing the ceremony Bridesmaid: Miss Wanda Swendsen, sister of the bride Bestman: Solway Hondrum, cousin of the groom Bride's Gown: silk crepe gown ashes of roses in color Bridesmaid gown: blue silk crepe Buffet luncheon was served to about twenty five guests Honeymoon along the North Shore Both graduates of the Hinckley Schools and Mrs. Currie has been teaching school in this territory Mr. Currie graduated from the University of Minnesota, as an engineer, and is now employed in National Defense work in Kentucky, Another newspaper account (Pine City paper?): TO MAKE HOME IN BLUE GRASS STATE... Charles Hoffmeister Bride attended: her sister, Miss Wanda Swendsen Best Man: cousin of the groom Groom: made his home in Hinckley nearly all his life, is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. Since completing his college course he has worked for the Minnesota State Highway department and for the past 10 months has been employed by the Federal government as a civil engineer, being at present stationed at Louisville, Ky., where the newlyweds will make their home. Since finishing her education nine years ago the bride has been teaching in Pine county schools. She and her chosen mate are on a honeymoon trip and plan to return to Hinckley before leaving for Kentucky the first of next week. They have the well wishes of their many friends for a long and happy life together.
