Thurs. July 11, 1963 Death Comes To M. Schumacher Mrs. William Schumacher, Pine City housewife, passed away on Tuesday July 2, at her home in Pine City at the age of 81. She had been ill about 3 weeks. Funeral services were held on Saturday July 6, from the Swanson funeral chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Erni T. Holm officiating. Mrs. Leonard Henrikson was the soloist. Pallbearers were Paul Schumacher, Richard Schumacher, Billy Schumacher, Robert Kubesh, Donald Schwarz and Larry Soderbeck. Interment at Birchwood cemetery, Pine City. Martha Mary Schumacher was born May 4 1882 in Danville county Minnesota to Albert and Wilhelmina (Lemmke) Fritsche. She was united in Marriage on October 18 1900, to William Otto Schumacher at Waseca Minn. They moved to this community 46 years ago. To this union 15 children were born. Survivors include her husband, Nine daughters, Lillian (Mrs. William Schwarz), Pine City; Linda (Mrs. John Kubitza), Havre Montana; Hilda (Mrs. Stanley Johnson), Minneapolis; Amanda (Mrs. Clarence Fritsche), Brunswick Minn.; Evelyn Klande, St. Paul; Hazel (Mrs. Otto Justinger), Milwaukee Wisc.; Hattie (Mrs. Arthur Kjos), St.Cloud; Elizabeth (Mrs. Carl Kubesh), Beroun; Adeline (Mrs. Robert Soderbeck),Pine City; Six Sons, Helmar, New Richland Minn.; Edwin, Cumberland Wisc.; Alvin, New Brighton; Benjamin, Hinkley; George, Tracy; Wilbert, Morristoown Pa; Ed Cressmen, Norrristown Minn,; one Brother Albert Fritsche, Waseca Minn.; and one sister Mrs. Helmer Christenson, Waldorf, Minn., and fifty-eight grandchildren.
