John F Knuth born February 1864 Pomerania, Germany. 

Emigrated to America in 1891. 

Married Margaret Haddie Klinker (b June 11, 1872 Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, d 
June 17, 1945 Trosky, Pipestone, Minnesota) on October 17, 1893 at Huron, 
Beadle, South Dakota. 

The couple had 5 children: 
Grover Frederick (b July 27, 1894 Huron, South Dakota, d March 25, 1968 
Pipestone, Minnesota); 

William John (b December 17, 1896 Carbon, Wyoming, d September 29, 1923 
Pipestone, Minnesota); 

Dora K (b February 1, 1899 Carbon, Wyoming, d September 16, 1943 San 
Bernardino, California); 

John Jr (b Octoer 19, 1903 Carbon, Wyoming, d December 15, 1927 Pipestone, 
Minnesota) and 

Walter Edward (b November 14, 1905 Baggs, Carbon, Wyoming, d December 28, 1949 
South Gate, Los Angeles, California). 

Found in the 1900 census at Four Mile, Routt, Colorado: John Knuth 36, Margaret 
M Knuth 27, Grover Knuth 5, Willie Knuth 3, Dora Knuth 1. 

Found in the 1910 census at Goose Prairie, Clay, MN: John J F Knut 46, Margret 
M Knut 38, Grover F Knut 16, Villey Knut Jr. 14, Dora C Knut 12, Johnny C Knut 
7, Walter E Knut. 

Found in the 1920 census at Verdi, Lincoln County, MN: John Knuth 56, Margaret 
Knuth 47. 

Found in the 1930, 1940 censuses at Trosky, Elmer, Pipestone, MN. Retired 
farmer. 
1930: John Knuth 66, Margaret Knuth 58, Dora Higel 31, Gloria Higel 6 yrs 7 
mos. 

1940: John F Knuth 76, Margaret M Knuth 67. Says home valued at $2000. John 
finished 8th grade.

John F Knuth died July 14, 1946 at Trosky, Pipestone, Minnesota and is buried 
at the Trosky Cemetery, Trosky, Pipestone, Minnesota.
