FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Richard Krayenhagen Submitted: November 2005 ========================================================================= This obituary is found in the Pipestone County Star 04 Jan 1973 Carl Krayenhagen Carl Krayenhagen was born on October 6, 1898 to Anchen and Ernest Krayenhagen at Clinton, Iowa. A few years later, the family moved to Vail, Iowa and there he received his schooling. When he was about fifteen years of age,the family moved to Morris, Minn., and three years later came to the Woodstock area. Carl farmed with his parents and since they passed away has farmed with his brother Ernest north of Woodstock all his life. Carl passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on Sunday evening, December 24, 1972 at the age of 74 years. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. wednesday, Dec.27, from Lindquist's pipestone Chapel with the Rev. LuVerne K. Clark, D.D. officiating. special music was provided by Norman Sandburg, organist and Merrill Womach, soloist, casketbearers were C.J. Smith, Maynard Miller, Dale Gillette, John Lupkes, , Albert Eisfeld, and Lyle Preston. Interment was in the Woodstock Cemetery, Woodstock, Minn. He is survived by one brother, Ernest Krayenhagen of Woodstock and one sister, Mrs. Martha Wagner of Appleton, Minn. and a nephew Charles Wagner of Appleton, Minn. and other relatives.
