E. Hannah motored to Crookston Tuesday to attend the Farm Crops Show. They were supper guests of Mrs. Isabelle Balfour. Gerald Hannah was called home Thursday, from Minneapolis, where he has been studying telegraphy, by the serious illness of his mother. Mr. and Mrs. D. H. McDonald went to Crookston Thursday to attend the Farm Crops Show. They returned Friday evening. While there they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. Lee. J.H. McDonald and daughter, Ruby, Mrs. Romaine McCleary, Mrs. E. McCleary and Miss Ellen Hannah ordered to Crookstpn Friday. Mr. McDonald and Miss Hannah attended school trustees' meeting and were dinner guests of Mrs. Isabelle. The other members of the party were on a shopping expedition. Mrs. C. M. Miller, of the Cummings School District, attended a school trustees' meeting in Crookston Friday. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Cumming attended the Alumni Banquet at the A. C., Crookston, on Friday evening Miss Ethel Lanman accompanied them as far as Crookston, where she attended the teacher's meeting held their Saturday, and thence to her home at McIntosh for a visit, returning Monday evening. Mrs. Janet Bain returned last week for Minneapolis, where she spent a pleasant three weeks, visiting her two daughters, who reside there. Leslie Cumming, who is attending the U. of N. D., spent the weekend at his home. T D Lee returned from the Deaconess Hospital to his home on Sunday Mrs. Ham Nisbet died Wednesday morning from cancer of the stomach. Funeral services will be held at the family home on Friday, and she will be buried by the side of her husband in the Fisher Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss two daughters, Cora and Irene and one son, Victor. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved ones in their hour of sorrow. Miss Fossbakken of Fosston, is visiting with friends here at present. Miss Ruby McDonald entertainment the Westminster Guild at her home here Thursday. Mrs. Harry Hannah, who has suffered for a long time from heart trouble and other ailments, passed peacefully away at the Deaconess Hospital, Grand Forks, at 3:40 Sunday morning. Deceased was 50 years of age at the time for death, and was a resident of this place for about 40 years, coming here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Gilmour, from Blue Earth County, Minn., at the age of 10. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. M. Gray, at the home, at 2 o'clock, and at Bethel Church at 2:30. A double quartet rendered special music, with Mrs. W J Nisbet as after the services, a delegation of the Eastern Star, of which Mrs. Hannah was a member, gave their beautiful and impressive ceremonies and 24 members of the Royal Neighbors lodge also paid tribute to their departed sister. The floral offerings from friends and acquaintances were many and beautiful, besides the tributes from the Bethel missionary society, Order of the Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors, Modern (Cut)
