Thank you Gary King. Darlene E. Heinl Darlene E. Heinl died Feb. 11, 2001, in St. Paul, Minn., after suffering a brain stroke. She was 53 years old. Darlene was born in Yakima, Wash., June 10, 1948, to Bernice and Earl (Stubby) Carlson and moved to St. Paul, Minn., in 1951 with her parents and sister. She was a senior custom representative for Simms Deltec Co. and had worked there since 1990. She was an active member of the Arlington Hills Lutheran Church. She taught and coordinated Sunday school, assisted with confirmation and youth ministries and served on various boards and ministry teams. She graduated from the St. Croix Lutheran High School in west St. Paul, Minn., and over the years many courses at the U of M. She married Richard Heinl in 1968. She was preceded in death by her father; and grandparents. She is survived by her loving husband; daughters, Darla Heinl (Ellery), St. Paul, Minn., Diane Heinl (Jeff) of Milford, Va., Donna Hastings (Randy) of Lino Lakes, Minn.; seven grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; mother, Bernice Christensen, Grantsburg; sister, Karen Lindquist (Paul) of Lewisburg, Ohio; mother-in-law Helen; stepmother, Ruby Carlson; brother-in-law Thomas Heinl (Carol); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Services were held Feb. 15, 2001 at the Arlington Hills Lutheran Church in St. Paul, Minn. Pastor Tim Peterson, Milt Bighley Aim. The Bradshaw Funeral and Creamtion Services assisted the family with arrangements.
