One of my ancestors, Nils Andreas Danielsen, had these four children, who all went to America: 1 Anton Toender Nilsen, born july 16th 1839 in Husby, Tomma, Norway. May 24th 1882,when he was 43 years old, he went to America in the ship Hero. 2 Birgithe Lorentze Christine Nilsdatter, born june 17th 1843 in Husby, Tomma, Norway. 3 Dorthea Maria Nilsdatter, born september 7th 1849 in Husby, Tomma, Norway. 4 Nils Andreas Christian Nilsen, born may 12th 1856 in Husby, Tomma, Norway. July 22 1880 he left Norway in a ship called Tasso. When he left he was bound for St. Paul Minnesota. Does anybody know what happened to these people and their descendants? I have a photo of a small child identified as "Richard Johnson in St. Paul Minn. 1914". The child's father was either Frank, Lorenzo or Harris. They were brothers. Brothers' parents were Royal F. Johnson and Ellen from Chicago. The brothers had a sister named Estelle Johnson who in 1910 married Philip Grennan in Chicago. Married Viola Christensen in 1904, had son Henry in 1907. Joseph and Viola apparently separated shortly before or after Henry's birth. Viola moved to Idaho with mother and sisters and died there in 1918 of TB. Joseph was Jewish, Viola was not. Thanks all! Emma Josephine Bailey was born in 1866 and died also in the Brainerd area in 1951. Lottie Belle Bailey was born 7-23-1890. She married Silas Butrum,and she died May 6, 1920 in Webster City, Iowa. Silas died 6 weeks later. One of their daughters, Bertha Belle Butrum was raised by the grandparents, the Baileys. They also had several sons, one being Roy. It is the sons' families that I am looking for and believe some of the sons were in the ST. PAUL area. Losing his parents at a young age, my Father was Leo Clarence Butrum (adopted-Neese), grandson of the Baileys-but never raised around them. Would love to find these relatives, any help will be greatly appreciated. Vilhelm (b. 12/21/1883) changed his name to WILLIAM HART, and it is thought that he lived in St.Paul, MN with his wife DORA (of Irish descent). They married ca1915 and had 3 sons: Milo William (wounded during WW-2, in Normandie, France), John Haldor and ? William Hart died ca 1940 (in St.Paul?). Anyone familiar with this William Hart family, and their descendants? All info is welcome. King in St. Paul in 1898, then settled in Seattle, WA. One of the boys moved to San Francisco, and was killed in a train accident. The other boy stayed in St. Paul and was killed in a construction accident. The elder Mary, Nellie, Margaret, and Mary the daughter remained in St. Paul while Ann married Thomas Cunningham and moved to Chicago, IL.
