Lloyd Kallevig officiating. Interment was in East cemetery at Hendricks with Bill Blake, Curtiss Blake, Ronald Blake, Reno Danielson, Mike Jorgensen and Wally Schulz as pallbearers. Mable Solseth Blake, daughter of Christ and Martha Solseth, was born Sept. 7, 1889, at Madelia, the fifth in a family of nine. In early childhood the family moved to a farm near Milroy. She was married in 1910 to William Blake and they farmed until his death in an automobile accident in 1917. Three children were born to them. Mrs. Blake moved her family into Milroy where they lived several years before moving to Tioga, N.D., and later to Minneapolis, where the children could attend college. After a series of strokes, she could no longer maintain a home and lived with her children until August 1967 when she became a resident of Hendricks retirement home. She died there Jan. 21. Besides her children, Rev. Chester Blake, Prairie Farm, Wis.; Mrs. Reno Danielson (Clarice), Minneapolis; and Wilbert Blake, Hendricks, survivors include a sister, Mrs. Dena Stenbak, Tioga, a brother, Melvin Solseth, Minneapolis, and 11 grandchildren.
