Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Seaforth, Minnesota on December 15, 1952 at 9 a.m. Rev. A. J. Kern officiated, assisted by Rev. A. J. Berg of Searles, Rev. John Soltzer of Stewart, Rev. T. H. Diehl of Wabasso and Rev. M. Guetter of Lucan. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Seaforth. Dorothy (Ruth) Rohlik was born on June 28, 1900 in Viola, Wisconsin. Her parents were Anthony and Mary (Morovitz) Rohlik. In 1902 the family moved to the Vesta community. Ruth attended country school District 54, parochial school in Marshall, and Mankato Teachers College. She taught school for two years, in North Dakota and near Marshall, before her marriage. Ruth married Mathias (Math) Kramer on June 28, 1922, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. They lived on the family farm in Sheridan Township and in the house that had been built by Michael and Gertrude Kramer, Math's parents. Math and Ruth had seven children; two children, Paul and Lorraine, preceded her in death. Ruth started the choir at St. Mary's Church in Seaforth and was the church organist for 30 years.
