FileFormat by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Gwenn M Solseth Submitted: October 2003 ========================================================================= Milroy Echo, Nov. 25, 1920: Christ Solseth Otto Solseth received a message Sunday afternoon stating that his father Christ Solseth had died suddenly. The remains were shipped, arriving here on Tuesday evening from Anoka. The funeral will be held at the Otto Solseth home Thursday at one o'clock and interment will be made in the cemetery north of town. He leaves a family of eight children and a wife, Mrs. Martha Solseth, of this place. The floral offering by the immediate family and other relatives and friends was very beautiful, also a beautiful bouquet from the ladies. Mr. Solseth has not been here for the past 20 years, but old time memories of his pioneer life in this locality kindled the sparks of love and friendship of days gone by all of which was exemplified very clearly at the funeral.
