Ridgely Norw. Ev. Luth. Congregation was organized. 1868 - Central Lutheran Church was organized at Ft. Ridgely as the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation. 1869 - Lewis Hanson built a hotel. 1871 - School District No. 1 was organized. 1872 - School District No. 31 was organized. 1872 - T. H. Hafsoe started a General Merchandise store 1872 - Post Office was established. 1874 - The congregation of Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church was formed. 1885 - Finnish Apostolic Lutheran church building was erected. 1904 - Town Hall was erected.
