COUPLE OBSERVE GOLDEN WEDDING Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Harmer Are Guests of Honor at Celebration at Waterford Home Sunday. "Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Harmer of Waterford celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sunday at a great family reunion held at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Harmer were presented with a large purse of gold besides other gifts. While their anniversary actually took place in February, the observance was postponed until now because at that time Mrs. Harmer was seriously ill. Mr. and Mrs. Harmer were married at Kasson on Feb. 4, 1874, by the Rev. Mr. Forbes. On the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding Mr. Harmer is seventy-two years old, while the bride of fifty years is sixty-nine. They have five sons and two daughters: R. D. Harmer of Leader; Herbert Harmer, Minneapolis; E. J. Harmer, St. Paul; Paul Harmer, East Lansing, Mich.; Mrs. Chas. Cowell (Pearl), Mrs. John Noreen (Velva), and Clifford Harmer of Northfield. There are sixteen grandchildren. Those from out of town who attended the celebration Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. John Harmer and daughter of Waseca, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Harmer, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Harmer, Mr. and Mrs. W. Harmer, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Krueger, Mr. and Mrs. D. Lynch and Mrs. Katherine Sterling and daughter, Edna, of Dodge Center; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ellingboe, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Harmer, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Bauer, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Pruett, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Ross, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Harmer and son of St. Paul; Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Johnson and Joe Eide of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Harmer of East Lansing, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Harmer and P. Stol of Leader; C. W. Larse and family and Mr. and Mrs. E. L.
