                    JESSE HARMER AND IDA TODD, RICE COUNTY
          MRS. AND MRS. HARMER REACH SIXTY-SECOND WEDDING MILESTONE

"The sixty-second wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Harmer, which 
occurred Wednesday, March 27, was celebrated Sunday at their home, 106 West Ninth 
street.  Their four children and families were present.  The sons and 
daughters are Otto Harmer of Northfield, Rollo Harmer of LeCenter, Mrs. Martin 
Ellingboe (Lillian) of St. Paul, and Mrs. Essa Harmer Eide of Minneapolis.  
Mr. and Mrs. Harmer (Ida Todd) were married March 27, 1878, at the home of 
the bride's parents at Ottawa in LeSueur county.  To Mr. and Mrs. Harmer are 
extended the congratulations of their many Northfield friends."  (Source:

                             JESSE HARMERS MARK 64TH ANNIVERSARY
"Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Harmer entertained at dinner at their home Sunday in 
honor of their sixty-fourth wedding anniversary which was Friday, March 27.  
Covers were laid for fourteen including their children and families, Mr. and Mrs. 
Martin Ellingboe (Lillian) and Mrs. Essa Harmer Eide and daughter Donna, of St. 
Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Harmer of Northfield, Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Harmer of 
LeCenter and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Kraudy of Minneapolis." (Source: Northfield News
