EARLE HARMER "Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 16 at the Bierman mortuary for Earle Harmer. The Rev. Richard G. Douglas, pastor of the Methodist Church, was in charge of the service. Mrs. R.D. Harmer sang accompanied by Miss Isabel Howland at the organ. Pallbearers were six nephews, Hal Harmer, William Harmer, Arlan Noreen, Herbert Noreen, Meade Harmer and Edwin Harmer. Burial was in the Riverside cemetery at Dodge Center beside his parents. Mr. Harmer is survived by two sisters in Northfield, Mrs. Charles L. Cowell and Mrs. John Noreen; by three brothers, Herbert of St. Paul, Paul of East Lansing, Mich., and Clifford of Lakeville; also several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Harmer; a brother, R. D. Harmer, and two sisters who died when children. Mr. Harmer died as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage Sunday evening, May 13. He had been making his home with his sister, Mrs. Cowell, but had gone to St. Paul for the weekend. He was stricken in his room and never regained consciousness. Those from away attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Borchert, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Harmer of St. Paul, Mrs. Elmer Hanson of Minneapolis, Elizabeth Noreen of Hopkins, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Harmer, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Harmer, Mr. and Mrs. Meade Harmer of Lakeville; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Harmer and Harold Harmer of Farmington." (ERROR: Earl's first name doesn't end with an "e". Arlan Noreen should be ARLAND Noreen.)
