R. HARMER MONDAY "Funeral services for Mrs. Richard Harmer, pioneer resident of the Northfield community, will be held at 2:30 Monday afternoon at the Congregational-Baptist church in Northfield. Dr. S. M. Hunter will conduct the service. Mrs. Harmer, who was 79 years of age last January 8, died at the Northfield Hospital at 7 o'clock last evening. She had been ill for some time. Her husband died nine years ago, and in recent years she had been living with her children. She was formerly Florence Quimby. There are five children surviving, Hosea R. Harmer of Mankato; Mrs. C. B. Sutherland (Mary) of Eugene, Oregon; Roy Harmer of Farmington; Mrs. C. W. Lee, (Grace) of Northfield; and Burton, Santa Ana, California. Fifteen grandchildren also survive."
