He had been in ailing health for many months. He observed his 75th birthday anniversary on Sunday, March 27. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Friday afternoon in Wangs church near Dennison. The Rev. Adolph Egge will officiate. Burial will be in the churchyard cemetery, with six nephews as pallbearers. Mr. Kasa was born in Goodhue county and farmed on the home place most of his life. He has been retired for some time. Surviving him are seven brothers, Ivar (This could be Ivan, the ink is missing.), Erik and Ben of Dennison, Austin of Northfield, Albert of Rosemount, Oscar of St. Cloud and John of Van Hook, N. D.; two sisters, Miss Bertha Kasa of Minneapolis and Mrs. Herman Estergren (Emma) of Fargo, N. D.; also many nieces and nephews. (There could be more to this obit. The page ended there.)
