AUGUST RAASCH, RICE COUNTY Mrs. August Raasch Northfield News, February 16, 1923 "Mrs. Doris Raasch died suddenly Friday evening, Feb. 9, at her home west of town. She was attending to her housework when she fell to the floor, death resulting four hours later from a cerebral hemorrhage. She had been as well as usual during the day. She was born March 3, 1863, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Albers. Her father died two years ago. She was married to August Raasch in April, 1902. Besides her husband she is survived by her mother, four sisters, Mrs. Fred S chrader, Mrs. Henry Schrader, Mrs. Mary Sommers and Miss Louisa Albers and three brothers, Henry F. C. and Ernest Albers of this community and Louis Albers of Minot, N. D. Funeral services were held at the home."
