It is typed in just as it appeared in the paper. ETTA LAFRENZ LUVERNE, Minn.---Etta M. Lafrenz, 81, a retired Luverne Community Hospital food service worker , died Sunday , Nov. 4 , 1996 , at the Arnold Memorial Nursing Home in Adrian , Minn. Etta M. Bruining was born Nov. 20, 1914 , in Nobles County , where she attended country school . She married Hans W. Lafrenz March 9, 1937, In Rosedale Township near Jasper, Minn. They farmed in Rock County, Where she was an adult leader of 4-H. They moved to Luverne in 1959. She worked in the food service department at the Luverne Community Hospital for 21 years before retiring in 1979. Her husband preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1987. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Luverne. Survivors include two sons; Jim and Maynard, both of Luverne, Mrs. LaVern (Wanda) Kafka, of Luverne; two granddaughters; two great- granddaughters; one sister, Sadie Knisley of New Mexico. Services begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethany Lutheran Church in Luverne, with burial in the Maplewood Cemetery in Luverne. Visitation begins today from 2 to 8:30 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Holm-Dingmann Funeral Home in Luverne.
