FUNERAL SERVICE FOR GEORGE RALFS HELD SATURDAY Funeral Services were held here Saturday for George Ralfs, 48, of Luverne, at the Smith Funeral home. Rev. J. O. Mundahl officiated and interment was in Maplewood cemetery. Pallbearers Vic Bowman, Ernie Birdsey, Robert Soladay, Cyril Dietermann, H. R. Woltjer and Henry Van Westerhuyzen. Mr. Ralfs was found dead at his home here last Wednesday afternoon where he had taken his own life, Corner C . L. Sherman said. Survivors are the widow, a son, Harold, Luverne; three daughters, Mrs. Luverne Siebenahler (Helen) of Hardwick, Mrs. Vernon Grant (Velma) and Julie Ann Ralfs, both of Luverne. His mother, Mrs. Minnie Ralfs, lives in Pipestone. There are three grandchildren. Five sisters survive: Mrs. Albert Kamrath (Hilda), Sherburn, Minn.; Mrs. Albert Burmeister (Minnie), Atwater, Minn.; Mrs. J. E. Kickland Grace), Pipestone, Minn. Mrs. Edward Barck (Stella) , San Francisco , Calf. ; And Mrs. Ernest Oye (Laura), Pipestone Minn. George W. Ralfs was born at Paullina, Iowa, on October 21, 1901. When he was two years old he moved with his parents to Trosky, where he attended school and grew to manhood. On December 26, 1924, he was married to Anna Lafrenz at Davenport, Ia. He lived near Luverne from 1933 until 1940, when he moved to the city of Luverne. He was engaged in windmill and pump work in this community until the time of his death.
