After Few Days’ Illness with Inflammatory Rheumatism. Gust Bethke, whose illness we mentioned last week, passed away before our paper left the press. He was taken ill the Saturday before with inflammatory rheumatism and lingered until March 1st at 5 P.M. His parents were notified of his critical condition and his father and mother and sister Minnie left for his bedside Monday evening on the Omaha and presume they reached him before the final summons came. Deceased was the fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bethke of Kelso, and was born and raised there. About three years ago he left for Colorado and at the time of his demise was a partner in a buggy top manufacturing concern at Loveland. He was about 28 years of age, and on Dec. 21 last was married to Miss Alta Leppla of Wisconsin. The remains were taken to Appleton, Wis., his wife’s home, and the burial took place Monday. Paul Bethke and wife and their daughter Minnie, accompanied the remains from Colorado, while Sophia, Richard and Fred Bethke and Mrs. Richard Kistner went there from here. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
