Brown On Sunday Aug. 2nd, news was received here of the death of Thos. F. Brown who died at his home in Merriam Park, St. Paul, at seven o’clock that evening of enlargement of the liver. Thos. F. Brown was born in Philadelphia on the third day of May, 1847. He came with his parents to Minnesota in 1855, settling on a claim in Jesseland township the following year. In the year 1871 he was united in marriage to Miss Alice Carey; six children were born to them, of whom five are living, namely: Patrick, William and Ploss, of Merriam Park; Mrs. Peter Carlin of Washington Lake, and John, of Dakato. The remains arrived here Monday and were accompanied by the relatives and friends to the St. Thomas church in Jessenland where a most impressive funeral service was held by Rev. Father Joy.
