Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Dwight Grabitske Sibley County Enterprise Thursday 6 August 1891 DIED August 5, 1891, at 6:15 a.m., at her residence, Mrs. Margaret Dapper, wife of Casper Dapper, after an illness of a little over three weeks, when she was struck by apoplexy and lost her speech, which she never recovered. She quietly passed away on Wednesday morning, and her funeral will occur from St. Mary's church next Friday at 11:00 a.m. Deceased was born at Worringen, District of Cologne near the Rhine, April 13, 1826, was married to C. Dapper Oct. 12, 1851, and gave birth to 8 children of whom the following 7 survive their mother, viz: Joseph, Peter, John, Catherine, Henry, George and Rosa -- Frank died at the age of 3 years. Mr. and Mrs. C. Dapper emigrated to America in 1852 and made this their home ever since. Mrs. Dapper was a good christian, a loving mother and wife and a kind hearted neighbor. May she rest in peace. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Sibley County Enterprise Thursday 13 August 1891 The remains of the late Mrs. Casper Dapper were interred in St. Mary's cemetery last Friday morning. The funeral was largely attended by sorrowing relatives and friends. Rev. Father Blume officiated.
