DELL This week we are called upon to chronicle the death of another old resident of this city, Mrs. Dell, relicit of the late Charles Dell, who passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. C. H. Botts in Minneapolis Monday morning, February 3, at ten o’clock, after a short illness, aged nearly 83 years. The deceased was a native of Germany and came to this country whith her husband in 1862 settling in the state of Pennsylvania where they remained until 1870 when the removed to this ciy to reside. Mrs. Dell resided in this city until last year when she went to live with her daughter at Minneapolis. She was a kind parent and during her long residence in this city made many warm friends who will be sorry to learn of her demise. She is survived by four sons and two daughters, namely: Fred and Robert Dell, of St. Paul, Mrs. C. H. Botts, of Minneapolis, Mrs. C. H. Harris of Wishek, N.D., August Dell, of Shakopee, and Charles Dell who resides in the state of Washington. The remains were brought to this city for interment Wednesday noon. The services were held at St. Paul’s Evangelical church at one o’clock, Rev. Eyrich officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in Brown’s cemetery. The following were pallbearers: Jacob Geib, John Schreiher, John Theissen, August Korehring, August Bosel, and Christian Stucke. All of the children were at the funeral excepting Mrs. Harris and Chas. Dell. - [Henderson] Independent
