Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Dwight Grabitske ddgrab@frontiernet.net Sibley County Enterprise Thursday 15 August 1895 A SAD DEATH Mrs. William Duehimeier, died at her home three and one-half miles southeast of Arlington, Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 13, 1893 [sic.] of nervous prostration. Mrs. Duehimeier had been sick for the past six months. Her death causes the home to lose one who can never be replaced for "what is home without a mother." She leaves a husband and four children, besides a large circle of friends and relatives to mourn her loss. Mrs. Duehlmeier was a daughter of Henry Roehler, one of Sibley county's oldest settlers, who passed to his long resting place two years ago. Deceased was born in Arlington township, March 1st, 1865, and was therefore 30 years, five months and thirteen days old at the time of her death. If Mrs. Duehlmeier had lived one more day she would have seen the eleventh anniversary of her marriage to Wm. Duehlmeier. The bereaved husband and four young children have the heartfelt sympathy of a large circle of friends. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1:30 from the Lutheran church, southwest of town, of which Mrs. Duehlmeier had long been a member. The remains will be interred in the cemetery near the church. Rev. Jank, the pastor, will have charge of the services.
