Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Dwight Grabitske ddgrab@frontiernet.net Arlington Enterprise Thursday 18 May 1899 OBITUARY The sad and wholly unlooked for news announcing the death of Mrs. J. Feldmann was received by telephone from Le Sueur Sunday morning, where she accompanied by her husband and family had gone for a visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schlegel. On the previous Sunday Mrs. F. was taken ill so that she was unable to return home with her husband. On Thursday Mr. Feldmann received a message that his wife was very low with pneumonia. He left at once and was at her bedside until death relieved her from her suffering Sunday morning, May 14, 1899. She was born Dec. 18, 1872 and therefore 26 years 4 months and 26 days old at the time of her death. She was a kind and loving mother and will be sadly missed by her husband and the three small children, the oldest being not quite seven and the youngest nearly two years old, who have the sympathy of the whole community in their sad affliction. The remains arrived here from Le Sueur Tuesday noon and taken to the M. E. church where the funeral services took place, Rev. A. Biebighauser officiating and the remains laid to rest in the cemetery east of this village.
