The home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Feldmann was, last Wednesday, saddened by the taking away of a dear little life. Jessie, the youngest child of the family, after several weeks of suffering passed to her heavenly home above. Once the sunshine and pride of a home, she is now gone from this life forever to a home where sorrow is unknown. Jessie Maria Juliette Feldmann was born here Feb. 27th 1900, being therefore only 4 years, 3 months and 12 days old, when she died. The death, which was caused by spinal meningitis, occurred at 4:30 o’clock p.m. last Wednesday. The funeral services began at the residence at 1 o’clock in the afternoon from whence the body was taken to the German M. E. church where services were held, after which the body was conveyed to the German M. E. cemetery where it was interred amidst a large gathering of sorrowing relatives and friends, Rev. Rabe performing the last sad rites. The bereaved parents have the sincere sympathy of their many friends in their sad loss. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - CARD OF THANKS We desire to extend our sincere thanks to the kind neighbors and friends for their aid and acts of kindness during the death and burial of our beloved daughter.
