Abcess of the brain was cause of death which came as a relief of her sufferings. Miss Clara, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fenske, of Arlington township, answered death’s call last Saturday, March 18th. Her death resulted from an abcess of the brain. All that could be done, but as the affliction was one for which there is no relief, medical or surgical treatment proved of no avail in the effort to save her life. The abcess had formed at the base of the brain and an operation was therefore impossible. She was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fenske, a bright young girl nearly sixteen years old, as she was born July 22nd, 1889. She was taken ill Feb. 4th and since gradually failed in health, suffering untold agonies, and the end came as a great relief. The funeral was held from her parents home on Monday, Rev. oench, of New Rome performing the last sad rites. The remains were laid to rest in the Glasow cemetery in Dryden. The deceased leaves to mourn her untimely death, her parents, a brother and sister, numerous other relatives and a host of friends. The Enterprise extends sincere sympathy to the sorrowing relatives in their bereavement. [Ed. Note: the text appears exactly as it appeared in the newspaper.
