FISHER News of the death of August F. Fisher, a pioneer resident of Dryden township, was received here early last Friday morning. The news came as a shock to the community, although he had been ill for several months, the end was not expected. Mr. Fisher passed peacefully to his last rest last Thursday evening, April 23rd, at 10 o’clock, surrounded by his family He was injured last September by being thrown from the buggy when his team became frightened and has suffered ever since, complaining of pains which resulted from this accident. He possessed a rugged constitution and had never know what it was to be sick. But tuberculosis developed within the last few months and it was then only a question of time when he would be called to his Maker. he was apprised of his illness early in January and failed gradually since. - [Gaylord] Hub
