He died at the home of his son Otto Flanz, where he had been staying for the past several years, during which time he has not been very well. He took to bed about a week before his death with asthma, which combined with his old age, ended his death. He was born in Germany on Nov. 24, 1826. When he came to this country he settled down on a farm about four miles west of Henderson where he lived for many years. He is survived by three children Ferdinand of this place, Otto with whom he was living, and Mrs. Kicker of Pine county. The funeral was held Tuesday from the Lutheran church in Sibley township. We join with the friends of the deceased in extending condolence to the bereaved relatives. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
