O. Fuller, an early settler in New Auburn, passed away suddenly at his home on the 1st inst. He had been feeling stronger physically than usual during the past few months and on the day prior to his demise he arose and did his usual chores. He then attempted to sit up, but dropped back on his bed and was no more. The late Mr. Fuller was born May 3, 1836, in New York, and attained the age of almost 76 years. While young he moved with his parents to southern Wisconsin, where he lived until after he married. He came to Minnesota with his family in 1866 and has since made his home in or near New Auburn. He was united in marriage on March 5, 1861, to Carrie L. Lewis, who with five children survive him. The children are Elizabeth L. Baugham, of Superior, Wis.; Mrs. Anna M. Coon, of Mankato; Edwin B., of Springdale, Wash.; William L., of New Auburn; and Fred L., of Tracy. One son Melvin S., died Feb. 25, 1884.
