Geiss, having answered the untimely summons, which came at 7:30 o’clock Tuesday morning. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Geiss of this place, and was born Sept. 24th 1881, being therefore only 22 years, 8 months and 27 days of age at the time of his death. He took sick about Aug. 1st, 1903 with pneumonia, which later developed into consumption which disease eventually caused his death. Expressions are heard on every had that he was a good, honest and exemplary young man, who was well liked by all who knew him. The funeral will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 o’clock from the house. Rev. Heidmann will officiate.
