August George Groetsch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Groetsch of Gaylord, and brother of Editor Groetsch of Green isle, died at Bethesday Hospital, St. Paul, Monday night shortly after 10 o’clock after an illness of only a week with uraemia. He was employed as bookkeeper at Griggs, Cooper & Co., and on March 7th was suddenly stricken blind. He recovered his sight, however, in a day or so and it was thought he would recover, but grew rapidly worse and passed away as stated. Deceased was 28 years of age, was born in Kelso township and passed his youth in Gaylord. He leaves besides his parents, three brothers, five sisters and many other relatives and a host of friends to mourn his untimely departure.
