F. E. HARRIS DEAD Young Lady, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Slough, of this place, passed away yesterday. A telegram was received yesterday from Minneapolis conveying to her parents and friends the sad news of the death of Mrs. Frank E. Harris, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Slough, Sr., of this place, which occurred Wednesday morning, at the Swedish Hospital in that city. She had been ill for only a week, the cause of her death being typhoid fever. Wm. Slough, Sr., her father, went down Tuesday in response to a telegram received Monday to the effect that she was seriously ill. She was considerably improved when he got there and so he returned that same evening, thinking there was no danger of her death. The deceased was born Jun. 8th, 1972 [sic.] in Arlington township, being somewhat over 31 years of age at the time of her death. In 1892 she was united in marriage to Mr. Frank E. Harris. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and two children, also father and mother, three sisters and five brothers. It has not yet been made certain whether her body will be brought here for enterment [sic.] or whether the burial will take place in Minneapolis. The date of the funeral has not yet been decided. Wm. Slough, Sr., left yesterday afternoon for Minneapolis. The deceased was widely known here and her many friends will be saddened at the news of her sudden death. The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of all their friends and acquaintances. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Arlington Enterprise Thursday 12 November 1903 Local news: The funeral of Mrs. F.
