PETER KEMP The many friends of Mrs. Peter Kemp will be pained to learn of her death which occurred Wednesday morning Jan. 4th, 1899 at 5 o'clock at her home in Jessenland township, where she has lived with her husband for over 38 years. The cause of her death being deabelic [sic.] gangrene of which she has been a patient sufferer for about two months. Mrs. Kemp was 57 years old at the time of her death. She leaves a husband and five children namely, John Kemp, of Jessenland, Henry Kemp, of Grafton this county, Mrs. Frank Weckop of Arlington township, Mrs. Jac Zeiher, Miss Sophia of Jessenland. The funeral will take place Sat. Jan. 7th, from the Catholic church of this village and the remains laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery north of town.
