Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Dwight Grabitske ddgrab@frontiernet.net Arlington Enterprise Thursday 9 March 1899 The death of Edward Lichtnegger occurred as briefly mentioned last week on Thursday monring at 5 o'clock a.m. Edward was the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. G. Lichtnegger and had he lived two days longer he would have been just 15 years of age. He was exceptionally bright and was highly esteemed by all of his companions. By his death the family lost a devoted son and brother. The funeral which took place Saturday at 2 p.m. from the home of his parents north of this city was one of the largest seen here for years, there being 49 teams in the procession. The remains were laid to rest in the cemetery west of town Rev. C. F. Koch officiating.
