Deceased was born Aug. 19, 1848, in Westpreusen, Germany, and her maiden name was Mueller. She was married in the old country to Wm. Tessmer and came to America and Sibley Co. with him in 1882. Mr. Tessmer died about two years ago, and a year later she married Paul Lucht, who survives her together with the following children by her first husband, viz: Mrs. Henry Willy and Mrs. Eugene Neubarth, Underwood, N.D.; Mrs. Schoenewa, Mount Vernon, Wash.; Mrs. Louis Arlt, Cornell, Minn.; Mrs. Fred Winter, and August, Wm., Emil and Henry Tessmer, of New Auburn township, and Mrs. Julius Zarnott of Transit. The funeral was held Saturday, at one P.M. from the late residence to the Lutheran church of that township, Rev. Hoyer officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery of that congregation. It was largely attended by neighbors and friends, showing the esteem in which deceased was held by her acquaintances. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - CARD OF THANKS We desire to thank the many kind friends for their assistance during the last illness, death and burial of the late Mrs. Augusta Lucht, also for the many beautiful floral offerings, and especially to Miss Alvina Hildebrandt, for decorating the grave.
