Meisner of Gaylord Laid to Rest in Arlington Cemetery Friday. Wm. Meisner, of whose sudden and untimely death, mention was made in last week’s Enterprise, passed away Tuesday evening, April 28h at eleven o’clock. He apparently was in good health until Sunday evening when he became sudden ill and suffered intensely until the following tuesday evening. His removal cause much sorrow to his wife and his relatives as he was in his prime of life and could have lived many years of usefulness. He was 36 years and 14 days old, and was born on April 14th, 1872, in Tyrone township, Le Sueur county. During the earlier part of his life he was employed by Chas. Brahs in Le Sueur. Nine years ago he came to Arlington and located with his brother, Herman, in the saloon business. In 1902, he was united in marriage to Mrs. Brahs, and three years later they removed to Gaylord where he conducted a saloon business up to the time of his death. He leaves to mourn his demise a loving and grief-stricken wife, his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Meisner Sr., three brothers, Herman, Otto and George and sister, Miss Clara, of this place; and sister, Mrs. Herman Scharping, of Stanley, N. Dak. The remains laid in state at his home in Gaylord until Friday, when they were shipped to this place on the afternoon passenger and were immediately taken to the Arlington cemetery, east of town, for interment, but they will be removed to Le Sueur, the former of home of the deceased, sometime later. A large concourse of friends and relatives attended the funeral to pay hime their last tribute and respect. The folowing from Le Sueur attended the funeral: Mike Wegge, Fred Franz, Herman Von Essen and Conrad Voss. A large number of Henderson and Gaylord were also in attendance.
