Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Dwight Grabitske Arlington Enterprise Thursday 15 August 1912 OBITUARY Maria Louisa Magdalena Narr The remains of Mrs. August Narr, who died Aug. 7, at St. Paul, as noted in these columns last week, were brought here on the 7:40 train that evening and taken to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Rischmueller in this village, where they remained awaiting the arrival of a sister and a brother from a distance, until Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, when the funeral was held from the house to the Public cemetery east of town, after which services were held in the German Lutheran church by Rev. Heidmann. It was largely attended, showing the esteem in which deceased was held by her acquaintances and friends. The pall bearers were: Willie Wemeier, Peter Wemeier, John Wemeier, Albert Rischmiller, Alfred Meyer and Fred Mueller, Jr. Those from abroad who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. Geo Rischmiller of Salida, Col.; Mrs. Geo. Kleweno, of Walla Walla, Wash.; Mrs. Karl Prinz, Mrs. Adam Heck, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, and Albert, Herman and Charles Narr, of St. Paul; Mrs. Louis Doepke of Minneapolis. Maria Louisa Magdalena Narr was born in the township of Arlington, May 26, 1882. She moved to the village with her parents 13 years ago. Was married here April 22, 1903 to August Narr, and moved to St. Paul about five years ago. She visited her relatives here about a month ago and then went to Waterville, where she was taken sick with blood poisoning and conveyed to the Lutheran hospital at St. Paul for treatment. Her relatives were called to her bedside a few days previous to her death and remained with her to the end, which came at one o’clock A.M., Aug. 7, having reached the age of 30 years, 2 months and 11 days. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, her parents, four brothers and four sisters, viz: Louis, Fred, John and George Rischmiller, Mrs. Geo. Kleweno, Mrs. August Berndt, Mrs. Karl Prinz and Miss Ella Rischmiller. The bereaved have the sincerest sympathy of their many friends in their deep grief over her sad and untimely departure. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
