Riggins, a young man of Jessenland, is no more, having become a victim to that dread disease, consumption, causing his death, which occurred Monday, February 29th. The deceased was born in Jessenland township 23 years and 6 months ago, that having been his home ever since. His parents have both been dead for several years and he has been staying at the home of his brother Dennis since then. The funeral was held yesterday, the remains being interred in the Catholic cemetery at Jessenland. A large number of sorrowing relatives and friends accompanied the remains to the grave, which shows the high respect in which he was held. We join the friends of the deceased in extending condolence to the bereaved relatives. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
