FileFormatted by Terri--MNArchives Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Dwight Grabitske ========================================================================= - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Arlington Enterprise Thursday 21 December 1911 LOUIS ROEHLER IS NO MORE Passes Away at St. Mary’s Hospital Dec. 10, of Bright’s Disease The many friends and acquaintances of Louis Roehler of this place were shocked to hear of his demise, which occurred at St. Mary’s hospital, Minneapolis, Saturday forenoon at 11 o’clock, of Bright’s Disease. He was born on the old Roehler homestead in Arlington township, Nov. 17, 1867, and was therefore 44 years and 29 days of age at the time of his death. He was taken suddenly ill about two months ago and failed rapidly. About two weeks ago he went to the hospital, and everything possible was done to ward off the Angel of death, but without success. His wife and other relatives were with him when he breathed his last. The remains were brought to Arlington Saturday evening and laid in state at his late residence until yesterday afternoon at one o’clock, when the funeral took place. The remains were interred in the Lutheran cemetery west of town, and services were conducted at the house and the church by Rev. Heidmann. The pall bearers were: John Guitschoff of Gaylord, John Meffert, Henry Hillemann, Wm. F. Timm, Herman J. Meisner and Chas. Reichenbach. The following from abroad were in attendance: Louis Roehler and Louis Roehler, Arlington Heights, Ill.; Henry Roehler and wife, Welcome; Aug. Fischer and wife, Echo; Mrs. Wm. B.
