PIONEER IS DEAD
 We are this week called upon to chronicle the death of on of Severance
township’s pioneer farmers.  Swan Rydeen passed away at his home on Sunday
evening at about 7:15 o’clock.  He has been an invalid for the past fifteen
years, Locomator Ataxy being his ailment.  A few days before his death the
deceased was stricken down with Edyemea of Lungs, this being the cause of
