Schade in Arlington township. The cause of death was heart trouble. He was born in Melgelburg, Schweren, Cummer, Germany on Oct. 20th 1854, being therefore somewhat over fifty years of age. The deceased was a single man and leaves besides his brother, as sister, Mrs. John Loren of St. Paul. The funeral will take place this afternoon at one o’clock from the residence of his brother. With the friends of the deceased we join in extending sympathy to the bereaved brother and sister. Arlington Enterprise Thursday 12 January 1905 LAID TO THEIR LAST RESTING PLACES The funeral of John Schade was held last Thursday. Mrs. Albert Meyer buried last Friday. The remains of John Schade whose death was mentioned in last weeks issue, were laid to rest last Thursday afternoon, the funeral service being held from the house at 1 o’clock p.m. The body was interred in the Lutheran cemetery in West Arlington, Rev. Robert conducting the funeral services. The Pall bearers were Paul Gall, Chas. Spannaus, Chas. Poplau, Albert Berndt, Chas. Glander and Aug. Wentzlaff.
