Well Known People Join Silent Ranks. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - MRS. P. SHAUGHNESSY Mrs. Shaughnessy, relicit of the late Patrick Shaughnessy of Jessenland, one of the old residents of that township, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Ignatius Anderly last Friday night, January 3, after a short illness. Deceased was a native of Ireland and was about 81 years of age. She resided on a farm in Jessenland with her husband and afterwards resided with her sons for a time at Green Isle. Her husband departed this life about twenty years ago. Besides the daughter named she is survived by another daughter Mrs. B. Fitzgerald and two sons Daniel and Edward Shaughnessy, who were in business for many years at Green Isle and are well known here. The funeral was held from the Catholic church in Jessenland Sunday forenoon and was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. Father Joy. - [Henderson] Independent.
