Word was received here Tuesday from Henderson, that H. N. Simmer had died that morning at 1:30 at this home in Superior, Wis., of acute inflammatory rheumatism, which had affected his heart. Mr. Simmer was a son of the late M. M. Simmer and was born and raised in Henderson and made that place his home until last summer. He was about 27 years of age and was married last July to Miss Ella Whitford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Whitford of Henderson. The remains will be taken to his old home, where the funeral will take place tomorrow morning. Deceased was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Henderson Fire department. He leaves a widow and child, a son, and his mother, one brother and three sisters, also many relatives residing here and elsewhere to mourn his untimely death. His mother, brother and Mrs. N. Witford were with him when he passed away. The Enterprise extends its sympathy to the bereaved widow and other relatives. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
