Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Dwight Grabitske ========================================================================= Sibley County Enterprise Thursday 25 January 1894 DIED - Mrs. Caroline Wilhelmine Spiring died at her home in Dryden township Sunday of la grippe, after a short illness. Deceased was born in Germany July 31, 1824, and was in her seventieth year at the time of her death. She was married in the old country to William Spiring with whom she had eight children. Mrs. Spiring was the mother-in-law of Gustave Altnow, a well known farmer of Dryden, and was a good Christian woman. The funeral was held yesterday, Rev. C. F. Koch officiating and the remains were laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery near town. We extend our sympathies to the mourning relatives in this their great affliction.
