Made available to The USGenWeb Archives by: Dwight Grabitske --------------------------------------------------------------------- Arlington Enterprise Thursday 18 September 1913 DEATHS Rudolph Trocke Rudolph Trocke, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Trocke of New Auburn township, passed away at the home of his parents Monday, Sept. 15th, at 12:30 P.M., after a lingering illness, of heart failure. Deceased had been ill for several years and at times seemed to be improving, but grew steadily worse. He spent some time in a hospital in the City and the best of medical attention was provided for him, but all proved of no avail, and in spite of all that loving hears and willing hands could do for him he was called by his Maker and answered the summons in the true Christian faith that was his. Rudolph Trocke was born in the township of Washington Lake, this county, and moved with his parents to their present home. He was 22 years, 10 months of age at the time of his death. He leaves beside his parents, two brothers and a sister to mourn his departure. The funeral will take place this (Thursday) afternoon at two o’clock from the family residence to the eNw Auburn [sic.] township Lutheran church, and Rev. Hoyer will officiate. Interment will be held in the cemetery adjoining.
